25th Cascade Festival of African Films

Become a Friend of CFAF

by Jay Moscovitz

friendsofcfaf-fullThe Cascade Festival of African Films (CFAF) is a volunteer-based festival that has been free to the public for 24 years. CFAF helps us connect to African people and cultures through film, and to each other through after-film discussions and a shared interest in Africa.

By becoming a Friend of CFAF, your donation helps bring African films and film directors to Portland, while keeping it a free event for all. Donations in any amount are welcome and deeply appreciated. By donating, you become a Friend of CFAF and a member of the community that helps sustain this popular festival. As a Friend of CFAF, you will receive special announcements and e-newsletters throughout the year describing festival news and related events of interest.

Friends of CFAF was started in 2010 to secure financing to help ensure that CFAF can continue to bring this beloved festival to Portland for many years to come. CFAF remains committed to offering films and festival events at no charge. For this to continue, we rely on the generosity of sponsors, volunteers, and audience members. Friend participation is renewed on an annual basis, so please renew your commitment today and encourage your family and friends to renew or join. The contribution is tax deductible.

To become a Friend of CFAF, go to the “Donate” tab on the CFAF website, and follow the instructions. The minimum amount is $25, but there is no limit to how much can be donated. You can also write a check payable to “PCC Foundation” (put Friend of CFAF in the memo area) and mail it to: CFAF, 705 N. Killingsworth Street, TH118, Portland, OR 97217.

Thank you for becoming a Friend of CFAF!
