Movies in the Park goes to Africa!

This summer, CFAF teamed up with Portland Parks & Recreation’s Movies in the Park for a showing of the South African comedy White Wedding. People came by foot, bike, bus and stroller to attend this free event in North Portland’s Peninsula Park on July 25^th. Loveness Wesa and Band provided the downbeat for an all-African themed evening of music, kids’ activities, picnics and popcorn. CFAF would like to thank the Multnomah County Cultural Coalition and Oregon Cultural Trust for their generous support of this very successful collaboration.
